The University of Florida’s Hearing Research Center hosted the Florida Chapter of the Acoustical Society of America for a scientific meeting on December 17th, 2021. Florida-based researchers, primarily from UF and USF, who collectively study acoustics came together to share data and arguments. The list of talks presented are given below. Dr. Susan Nittrouer was gracious enough to host the attendees for a social at her home the night before.
The next FL ASA Chapter meeting will be held on April 1st (location TBA). UF students interested in basic and clinical science concerning acoustics, hearing, motor control, and language are highly encouraged to participate as ASA is very welcoming and supportive of students during their academic and research training.
