CAPS Lab member, Grant Oberle (BHS, Communication Sciences & Disorders), is a recipient of a scholarship from the University Scholars Program (UF, Office of Undergraduate Research). This program serves as an exceptional capstone to the academic careers of UF students. Only 200 students from all disciplines are selected through a competitive process to participate in this program. Way to go, Grant!
He will be completing a thesis project with Dr. Masapollo, titled, “Auditory feedback control of inter-articulator speech production in normal-hearing speakers and congenitally deaf cochlear implant users.” This research is currently funded by the Hearing Health Foundation.
