EMA at USF

With generous support from the University of South Florida (USF), CSD researchers, Drs. Nathan Maxfield, Catherine Rogers, and David Eddins, recently purchased and installed a Carstens AG501 electromagnetic articulography (EMA) system. Dr. Masapollo is helping the USF scientists to create the new lab and get EMA off the ground in Tampa! The team is “thinking big” and has set its top priorities on investigating the effects of congenital hearing loss and persistent developmental stuttering on speech motor control.
